When we last left our heroes, they had all been abducted by Mysterious Villains. Jupidor, the greek rain god, had been dragged away in the dark by a mysterious captor. - Lauren
In which we learn what happened to Dor:
As soon as the mysterious villain had Dor safely out of the ballroom he was joined by a dozen burly henchmen who subdued the rain god without much difficulty. Dor woke to the sound of a triumphant voice.
"Velcome to my lair, Capitan!"
Dor opened his eyes.
"Indeed, you art the red faced man who had approached me before."
"But don't you realize who I am? Your greatest nemesis? ZE RED HERRING?!?" the villain threw up his hands.
"Ah, is your name Red Herring 'cause your face resembles that of a fish?"
"Nein!" cried the rather fish-like German indignantly. "Do not insult ze face of your doom, Capitan!"
"You are mistaken. I am not a captain."
"No, you're just some dork in tights who calls himself a capitan!" laughed the Herring. "And you vill certainly be displeased to know zat I have your ensusiastic sidekick, too!"
"Forsooth! I do not have have a sidekick!"
The Red Herring raised a fish-like eyebrow.
"Vat is ze capitol of Arizona?"
"Golly, I don't know."
"Do you know how to play ze kazoo?"
"Sadly, no. Haven't really considered it."
"Have you brushed your teeth after dinner?"
"Oh, dear. I've forgotten."
"Here, use this." the Red Herring handed Dor a small object.
"Ah, a portable toothbrush! Surely you are prepared for the unexpected!" Dor examined the instructions on the back of the paper envelope. "Hmm, tear, slide, brush, ah!
The storm god brought the bit of paper to his face. The next second, he was snoring on the ground. The Red Herring called his Burly Henchmen over.
"I had to use ze chloroform toosbrush on him. Zis is not the man ve vere looking for. Call IDK and ask about ze sidekick." he gave a glance at the muscular sleeper. "I can't believe you vere dumb enough to mistake him for Capitan Cino."
The Red Herring strode over to his Volkswagen Beetle and started the engine.
"I must go back and find heem!" he declared and drove off in the direction of City Hall.
