Spoon Suit Man: Part 3 (Lauren)

When we last left our hero he was still being threatened by the Evil Clementine, but his cousin and sidekick Ben was oblivious to the danger. - Lauren

"Wait a minute," Ben interrupted, suddenly realizing what Sven had said. "What's this new theme song you have, cuz? Am I in it? Cause I wasn't in the last one, or the one before that, or the one before - "

Sven shuffled his feet awkwardly. "Well, actually, cuz... the songwriter kind of forgot to put you in this one too."

"What?" yelped Ben, "Who's writing these songs, anyway? Come on, even Robin got put in the Batman song!"

"No, he didn't," put in Clementine, "That was Jingle bells, Batman smells. The Batman theme song was just the word Batman repeated over and over."

"Well, that's dumb." said Ben.

There was a moment of silence as they all contemplated the limited mind of the Batman theme song writer.

Suddenly Sven looked up and was about to speak.

"Oh no!" said Ben," No no no no no, that is not going to be your new theme song. It doesn't even fit."

"That's not what I was going to say," protested Sven.

"Ahem." said the evil Clementine.

"I'm speaking now, wait your turn!" cried Sven.

"I am an evil villain, do I look like I wait my turn?" asked the Clementine.

"That's it!" yelled Sven."I've had enough! Can't a man get a little privacy around here?"

He threw the covers off the bed and stomped out of the room, The room shook as he slammed the bathroom door.

"What is he doing?" Clementine asked Ben.

"He's probably taking his morning shower." Ben plopped himself down on Sven's bed and turned on the iPad. Sven's newest theme song came on:

The city's quite a mess
And vllains run amok
Though it looks hopeless
We are not out of luck
For one brave man will soon
Put on his suit of spoon
THE SPOON SUIT MAN
Always he will fight and win
So wickedness and sin
Had better not begin
To terrorize his home
His spoon suit makes him strong
Forever fight and win
His spoon suit makes him strong
To forever fight and win
"Every time," sighed Ben, "They always forget me. I'd like to have a talk with that songwriter."

"Erm..." said Clementine, "How long will he be in the shower?"

"Oh, knowing him, probably forty-five to sixty minutes."

Clementine looked at his watch. "I'll be back in an hour, then!" he proclaimed.

'Okay, bye." said Ben, not looking up from Chop Chop Ninja.

Clementine stalked out of the bedroom, his evil cape swirling behind him like the phantom of the opera or Bullseye from 'Daredevil'.

Will the Clementine return to destroy the Spoon Suit Man? Will Sven actually take an hour long shower? Will Ben get to level three on Chop Chop Ninja? Find out on Monday!

  1. "I am an evil villain, do I look like I wait my turn?" xD I liked that line! (Well, I liked the whole thing, but it would be kind of pointless to copy and paste the whole thing into my comment....)

    (Yes, it's Jess)

Tell us if something made you laugh, if you can't stand the suspense of waiting for the next post, if you recognized a line we borrowed from a book or film...

Just remember, as the evil Clementine once said, "choose your last words carefully, for they will be the last words you ever say."
